I think that I might have answered this already. But, just in case, I will go over the details again.
It is not unusual to have problems importing iTunes music into Premiere Elements. When this does happen, the
solution has been to import the iTunes music into iTunes for conversion to the WAV version. And then you import
that WAV version into Premiere Elements using Premiere Elements Expert workspace Add Media/Files and Folders/Project Assets
from where you drag it to one of the Expert workspace audio tracks.

If you need any help with the WAV version creation, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Some older iTunes music may present other challenges but what is described above usual does the job.
