A few more questions ... CC2014 or 2014.2? Do you have any third-party plugins/effects on this sequence, such as Boris or ... ? What is the codec and sequence settings, especially, are you blending footage of different frame rates or sizes? What is your drive layout ... everything on one drive, or using multiple internal/external drives? And ... exporting through PrPro itself or queuing over to AME?
Also, a screen grab of the export dialog box showing all settings would be most useful.
Thanks for the response.
I am using 2014.2
I am not using any 3rd party plugins
I am trying to render a preview file for a documentary but will have to export it at a higher quality near the end.
Footage most likely has different frame rates, only for b-roll, I've been trying to output at 29.97 maybe i need to try 24/ recreate sequence
Everything is on one external drive,
Ive tried to export both on PrPro and AME
Exporting works on my macbook pro 2009 with prpro 2014.2
Everything on one external is not idea, shall we say? What's the connections ... USB2/3, eSATA, Thunderbolt?
And in this screen grab, though the sequence is 29.97 the output file is set for 23.976 ... did you mean that?
yes one external is not ideal. ha
firewire with a thunderbolt adapter
Yes, i changed it 23.976 to see if anything different would happen, still failed.
I recreated a new sequence, and am exporting it right currently, will let you know how it goes.
