Premiere Elements 13 no longer has the DV or HDV data capture firewire feature. PRE_help has pointed to the following Adobe document for instructions for
workarounds in this situation. Please review and consider and then let us know if any of them worked for you.
The last version of Premiere Elements to include this feature was Premiere Elements 12/12.1.
thanks for the swift reply! Yes, capturing via MS Movie Maker works fine - that's exactly why I bought the advanced integrated Video Processing software from Adobe because I have to do the capturing with a standard MS Tool (sarcasm mode off)....this is very disappointing that ADOBE has taken away this standard key feature, from a customer point of view for no good reason.
Next time I consider twice before my purchasing decision.
But again, thanks a lot - not your fault anyhow
Thanks for the reply.
Hope you can use the workarounds suggested in the Adobe document.
Are you within 30 days of purchase from Adobe direct on this one? If so, you can seek a refund/money back from Adobe.
If you purchased from an authorized reseller, then you have to deal with the seller according to the sellers return/refund policy.
If an Adobe online purchase, then Adobe Chat Orders should be able to take care of the refund details.
