Have you tried opening it yet?
Yes I opened it and it said "This project contained a sequence that could not be opened. No sequence preview preset file or codec could be associated with this sequence type."
So what I did is open a new file, clicked Import, clicked on the project I've been trying to open and imported the selected sequences, since it wouldn't let me import the whole project. Now all the clips are in a bin, but how do I put it on my timeline as if it were the whole project I was working on? If I select the imported file, the clips appear on the timeline all scrambled and just as that, clips. Essentially I have clips but need the sequence (project) I had created.
Checkout the Icons...top left on the Sequence Panel.
One allows you to display that Sequence as a Nest ( which it is inthe way you are doing this.. or Clips.
Surely you want to see it as Clips though? If so ...just Open it as a "Sequence" instead of dragging it into a New Sequence".
Sounds like that'll work. I'll try this and get back to you tonight. Very much appreciated
Hey shooternz... Opened PP don't see what you're talking about? So I have a new file, imported "Selected sequences" from the project I'm trying to use, now I have a bin that has my project in it with all the clips. How do I get everything on the timeline as the project I had ?
Click on any Sequence in the Bin to open it in the Timeline.
It will be in the Folder "Selected sequences"
The timeline can open it Nested ( a single stream) or as Clips (as per original sequence)
