Remove duplicate library folder after reinstall

I recently replaced/upgraded  my computer and migrated my Lightroom library to a the new computer.  My photos are stored on a NAS drive and did not move in this migration.  In setting up the new computer I changed the inadvertently changed the case of the NAS drive definition on the new computer.  Lightroom continued to import new photos to the NAS correctly, but the library tab shows the new photos in a separate folder named with change in case.  My attempts to combine the folders end in Lightroom telling me the folder already exists.  It seems some regards Lightroom is case sensitive and others not.  So my photos are in the same physical location, but different folders according to the Lightroom catalog.  How can I combine the Lightroom folders?  Thanks.
