Links and Fonts in MOBI Files Genereated from Fixed Layout EPUB

I have a fixed layout epub created in ID CC2014 that works as expected. Using kindlegen to create my mobi file. The text hyperlinks do not work (image links work fine) and the @font-face declaration does not work.

The link tags appear as I would expect them to when I unzip the epub and look at the code. I have tried making a simple text link from  ID and editing the code. Neither worked. I can ad a link tag to an image in the .xhtml file that works as expected. A button hides the text and does not work as well. Is a text hyperlink a known problem with ID epubs going to mobi?

There is an @font-face in the css file and there is a font folder containing the font. Is this a known problem with ID epubs going to mobi?
