Adobe EchoSign: Looking Back, Looking Ahead

    JonPerera Adobe Employee

From all of us here at Adobe, we wanted to wish you and your organization a terrific 2015! With the New Year upon us, I wanted to quickly recap some of the advancements made with Adobe EchoSign in 2014, and also to give you a preview of what’s to come in 2015.

Looking back, 2014 was, perhaps, the most important year ever for Adobe EchoSign:

      • #1 Rated Solution. Adobe EchoSign was the #1-rated e-signature solution for Salesforce.com with an average rating of 4.9 across more than 3000 user reviews.
      • Saving our customers time & money. Based on analysis of business workflows across thousands of customers, Adobe EchoSign customers worldwide were able to close deals 5 times faster, save tens of millions in un-needed expenses, and improve satisfaction with their customers. Telefonica, Groupon, NetApp, RackSpace, KIA, KLM, Shred-It, Ricoh, United Health Group, Tivo, Jaguar-Land Rover, and more than 100,000 organizations around the world saved money and improved business processes with Adobe EchoSign.
      • Security and Availability. Cloud security and availability were our top focus areas. We achieved PCI 3.0 compliance, and made dramatic improvements to service uptime. 100% uptime was achieved in 6 of the 12 months, and the average availability for 2014 was 99.96%. We processed more than 33 million transactions over the course of the year. See http://trust.echosign.com for more information here.
      • Expanded Capabilities. Adobe’s strategy is to be the #1 solution for e-signing everywhere. We made major enhancements to the Adobe EchoSign platform. Across three major releases, we shipped more than 100 new features in the areas of security, administration, user interface, partner integrations, workflow, API capabilities and more. Examples include:
        • Dramatically new user interface, with signing experience optimized for mobile devices
        • New Salesforce1 solution, and a new release of Adobe EchoSign for Salesforce
        • Expanded mobile capabilities across iOS and Android
        • Enhanced Security, Enterprise Administration and Workflow capabilities
        • New integrations with Ariba, Microsoft SharePoint, Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, and more.
        • Expanded REST API and SOAP platform capabilities
      • Strategic partnerships. Dozens of new ISVs adopted Adobe EchoSign as an embedded solution worldwide. This year we made formal announcements about our partnerships with Ariba, Workday, Salesforce.com, and more.

But we’re just getting started. In 2015, we will once again “double-down” on Adobe EchoSign with a focus on:

      1) Advancing cloud security

      2) Industry-leading document workflow capabilities

      3) Innovating across both document protection as well as document analytics

      4) Expanding our partner integrations and API capabilities

      5) Partnering with governments around the world to increase awareness of the legality of e-signatures

Again, all the best to you and your organization.
