I doubt there is anything that wont involve a lot of complications and messy workflows.
I think you will find this process a lot more hassle than it's worth. The better idea is for your friend to buy a month-to-month subscription to Creative Cloud. It's pricier at $70/month instead of the normal $50, but you can cancel at any time and if you only need it for a month or two, may work out cheaper in the end.
It will definitely work out easier.
Thanks guys. I've tried the FCP option and it's not bad but it doesn't transfer over some of the effects right (or at all).
Right now, upgrading him to CC isn't an option, but it's possible that it will be soon. Until then I'll just have to sit down and redo all my settings on his end and create a template for him. It's basically the same project on a weekly basis, just different talent and graphics.
