I'm rocking a late 2009 iMac that feels like it's on it's last leg, especially after I force a lot of raw video on it, so I decided to build a powerful PC this time... I wondered if someone can take a look at this build. I've been working on it for awhile, and after a lot of opinions I think it should be good to go, but let me know if I made any mistakes... Just looking to keep it around $2500 inc display and be decently future proofed.
Also I hear the GTX 970 may have some compatibility issues, but it seems to be only for ray-traced rendering? I doubt I will endeavor there.
Thanks for your feedback as I know you probably see a lot of these posts
Also if someone can shore up a few other questions I forgot to add: I've been told conflicting things about the PSU will 650 be enough? I probably won't get into overclocking, and I do not game. Will the EVO 212 be enough to cool? And is this a good choice for a mobo in the Gigabyte? It has conflicting reviews... Thanks again!
