I have found an issue while applying a drow shadow. Depending on the language set for Photoshop I have to use, at line 61 by taking the code from Scripting listener:
desc13.putString( idNm, """Linear""" );
desc13.putString( idNm, """Lineal""" ); (for spanish, other languages are different)
it seems that the translation of Linear is needed, otherwise it raises an error.
Isn't possible to script this independently of user language?
Thanks in advance.
I have solved this issue using localization.
Besides from checking terms in the dat file, is there any other better way to know when a term should be localized? For sample "enab" doesn't needs to be localized but "Linear" must be localized.
It would be great if it simply accepts the english term for scripts independently of Ps front language.
var gradientMode = localize("$$$/Contours/Defaults/Linear=Linear"); desc13.putString( app.charIDToTypeID('Nm '), gradientMode );
