I am trying to change the background color on my document in indesign. I am exporting the document into PDF format. I have read quite a few discussions already and can't seem to find an answer. Yes, I have tried the whole pages thing and I am well aware that it is for previewing purposes only.
I read something that said to make a frame and that will keep the background color onto a pdf. I am new to indesign and have NO IDEA how to use it. Can someone please explain in dummy steps for me.
I figured it out.
1. Hit the "A-Master"
2. Take the "rectangle frame" on the tool bar and make it as big as your page.
3. Hit "swatches" and play with color.
Or this helpful youtube video pretty much says what I just said (incase anyone needs a quick & easy way to do this)
Take care on you 2nd step: It has to be expanded up to the bleed and if you have facing pages, it has to be divided on the spine.
