station_two Jan 7, 2015 10:29 PM (in response to jihanemo1)Neither of those is an exact version of either.
The latest versions of Photoshop are CC 14.0.2 and CC2014 15.5, or something like that.
Yosemite can be either OS X 10.1 or OS X 10.2.
In any event, I'm leaving this discussion as I can no longer be of assistance. Sorry.

jihanemo1 Jan 8, 2015 7:12 AM (in response to station_two)Oh dear - I hope I did not upset him. Sorry about that station_two. No need to apologize - I can see why you were easily frustrated with me.
For anyone else that may know the answer, I'm using Yosemite 10.10.1 and Photoshop CC 2014.2.2.
Again, in other Mac programs, I can toggle between radio buttons in dialog boxes using Tab but this function seems to be disabled within Photoshop dialog boxes with radio buttons... ?

Does one of those versions allow a keyboard shortcut for switching between radio buttons, while the other does not? Or are you just being snooty and unhelpful for absolutely no reason... again.

6. Re: Keyboard Shortcut for Switching Between Radio Buttons in Dialog Box
jihanemo1 Jan 8, 2015 8:07 AM (in response to rkelly0137)I was actually wondering myself if keyboard shortcuts would vary that much between different versions of the program. I could see if the shortcut would different between CS2 and maybe CS6, but CS6 and CC?
Meanwhile, I'll keep googling and if I find the answer, I'll post it here if no one else has.

I doubt it. Regardless, if you CC you have access to all versions, so the point is irrelevant.
The one thing that caught my eye is the word "toggle". CC added conditional actions (if this, then that, else...). So you can set up actions to check for something and do one thing or another. Through that you can set up a toggle. For example I read a post about someone who set up a toggle to turn the visibility of a layer on and off - a useful function that I have no idea why Adobe doesn't include. However, it was fairly limited in it's ability and just happened to have the ability to check layer visibility. I don't know if it could do what you're looking for. But since it's a relatively new function, they're probably adding to it's capabilities as new revisions come out.

jihanemo1 Jan 8, 2015 8:24 AM (in response to rkelly0137)Hey there,
I see what you mean. Sorry - I meant 'toggle', as in to go back and forth between 2 options. The type of toggle you're referring to is a bit advanced for me. And I didn't know CC gave access to all previous versions.
Okay - thank you for the info. I'm just over here getting used to working on Photoshop w/ a Mac, so still feeling my way around.

No problem, take your time. Photoshop has a steep learning curve.
But that's the same kind of toggle I was referring to. In that example you go back and forth between having the active layer visible, and invisible - by pushing one button.

10. Re: Keyboard Shortcut for Switching Between Radio Buttons in Dialog Box
gener7 Jan 8, 2015 10:45 AM (in response to jihanemo1)In Mac's System Preferences > Keyboard, you can set the Tab key to focus on all controls. (Bottom of dialog). So I can tab over to a radio button in Firefox Preferences and use the up/down arrow keys to go between radio buttons.
The problem so far is that Photoshop does not pick up on this setting. Tab is reserved for numeric fields only.

jihanemo1 Jan 8, 2015 10:55 AM (in response to gener7)Thank you for your reply,
I understand - yes - thats exactly what Photoshop does - tab moves back and forth between the numeric fields in the Rotation dialog box but it won't move over to the radio buttons.
Life was much easier in Windows. But I'm sure Mac Photoshop has treasures I have yet to discover. But its been a hell of a transition so far, though.
Okay - thank you for the explanation.

I don't know you from a hot rock, but that is one of the stupidest posts I've read here in recent time, 0137.
Obviously, the idea was to determine whether the OP had applied all possible updates. Asking users simply whether they are "fully updated" is futile, as many think they are when they are not. That's why EXACT version numbers and precise terminology are necessary.
I'm confident that anyone with an IQ above room temperature range can deduce that.
