Any ideas as to how this program was created?

      Specifically the 3d aspects...

      http://www.aikido3d.com/

The program allows you to view a short 3d animation of each aikido tecnique, you can use your mouse rotate left or right a full 360, or view from on top...you can also control playback speed and make either the attacker or defender dissapear or a portion of thier uniform (which in aikido is a bit large and can obstruct views)...

The website describes that these 3d animations were actual video of people performing the aikido techniqes transformed into 3d characters within a 3d space...

Any idea how this was achieved?

I am curious how the 3d space was created and then inserted into an executable program...I purchased the program to check it out more and there are .cxt files in the programs directory and when opened with notepad the exe clearly lists director as the authoring program so I am pretty sure this was done using director...

Any ideas? I would like to do something similar with another martial art but I am not sure how to approach the

Any help at all about how to approach this would be appreciated!
