Adobe Elements11 and Premiere11 / Installation error "Error in installation of common technologies"
When I try to install Adobe Elements11, I always get the error "Error in installation of common technologies".
I Did the div. Advice from the Adobe supports already tried. I've noticed that
in Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Services The service "Flexnet Licensing Service" is not listed. I think that's the problem. But how can I recover this service? Can someone help me?
This thread was incorrectly posted to the Adobe Captivate forums and has been moved to the Premiere Elements forum.
Thank you anyway, but after a fullscane it worked again. I could install Elements11 ( Elements and Premiere ) successfully. Thanks
Great job of resolving your own Premiere Elements 11 issue. I think that there may be a problem in the translations, so I need to ask "What did you do to resolve
"....but after a fullscane if worked again..."
I did not understand that. Did you mean that, after an uninstall/reinstall of Premiere Elements 11, the program
worked without the problems?
I tried several things to solve the problem, but nothing worked. Finally I started my Virus Scanner for a full Scan of my PC. After that did id work fine. That's all..;-)
Thank you for the details of your success.
Interesting solution. Good information to have. Great job.
I have no explanation for why it worked, but the great news is that your Premiere Elements is working and you can move forward with your projects.
Renaming of the OOBE Folder has been a solution for the Shared Technologies error during program installation, but I have not run into a virus scan resolving
that type of issue.
