I am using Premiere pro CC.
I am using an .mpg video clip with audio but I cannot get the audio track to show in on the timeline.
I created a sequence and I put many stills in it and then I tried to add video clips with audio.
The video went in but the audio did not.
I split the video clip into separate video and audio files and then I could add the video and audio separately
I included a picture of the timeline.
The question is what settings di I change so that I can drop in my video with its audio track?
I don't have CC "up", I'm on CC2014.2 ... so they've changed the way it looks a bit. I note you've got a video track "marked" (V1) in the far left box on the timeline, but there's no corresponding selected audio track
From what you've said, I'm assuming you've got your stills on V1, and would be trying to bring in video on V2 or V3? Try selecting both the V3 and A3 in the far left box, and see if a video dragged or targeted to V3 also has an audio track in A3 ...
Load the clip into the Source Monitor first. Make sure the audio is patched in the Timeline. Then Insert/Overwrite the clip into the Timeline. More info here: FAQ: Why does audio or video not go to the track where I drop it?
