What version of Premiere Elements is still installed activated on the old computer (what is your old operating system)?
What version of Premiere Elements are you going to install and activate on your new computer (what is your new operating system)?
Before you do anything, how many of your computers now have the same Premiere Elements purchased/activated serial number installed on them - just that one old one?
The answers to the above might help us to help you so that you do not have to contact Adobe.
We are not Adobe, rather user to user.
You could be right... I read the question as being the mainboard was already replaced, so no way to go into the program to deactivate
Yep, the mainboard was already replaced, so i had to deactivate my first licence (Old Computer, but still working) - Becides, there is no more 'deactivate' button on Adobe Premiere 13,(like on Photoshop) just a 'log out' option ("Abmelden"/german) .. and if you want to do serious work, like synchronicing the original camera sound with external recordings (frame-right) , you have to export the soundfile to an audio-program (Audacity) and reimport it to have it exactly done . I mean it's the main use for film-editing, and Adobe knows that ..Adobe is real ****** consumer fraud !
