    Remove onRelease event

      Long story short, I have a flash movie that is entirely controlled in the first frame using actionscript. The movie loops through displaying four different pictures and texts in their respective dynamic movie clips. The pictures and text are defined in xml files. There is one image movie clip, and one text movie clip, the content of these changes every 5 seconds or so.

      Anyways, the problem I am having is, some of the images will need to be a clickable link that links to another webpage in the site IF a url is specified in the xml file. I know how to do everything I have just stated. I am making the image clickable by saying:

      var url=this.childNodes[0].childNodes[2].childNodes[0].nodeValue;
      if (url != null)

      However, the problem occurs when the movie moves to the next image that DOESN'T have a url. The image will still link to the url specified before.

      I am wondering if there is some kind of command to remove this onRelease function. If anybody has any ideas it would be much appreciated.
