I've run into an issue using images generated in Edge Animate in IE8.
I generated a poster image for my animation and set it as the down-level stage. If I then turn on responsive scaling (a requirement for my project) and export it, I see a blank screen and the following JS error:
'Message: 'window' is null or not an object
If I turn off responsive scaling, the poster image loads as expected and the JS error does not occur.
Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated! I'm happy to provide additional information to aid in the debugging process.
Just found this other thread -
As suspected, this is a bug in Edge Animate. They say it will be fixed in the next release. I don't suppose anyone knows when the next release will be? This is holding up a launch, and I'd really love to avoid having to hack around it.
It seems there isn't a solution yet >> edge.6.0.0.min.js
If I set "scaleToFit" to "none" the down-level stage works correctly (in IE8), otherwise it throughs the JS exeption "window is null" and a blank screen.
