PDF submit fails/grayed out on Google Chrome

    trm2217

Google Chrome does not allow submission of a FormsCentral pdf - whereas it does allow it with Internet Explorer, or if downloaded onto a computer first. As instructed, I have installed the current version of Chrome on webserver (didn't reboot) but the form still will not submit. Any suggestions?

Further research may be of use to others: The issue is related to Chrome Reader extension overriding the Adobe Reader Plugin extension on the visitor workstation. If form fields are not highlighted then browser is not recognizing the form fields and it cannot be submitted. Solution for the visitor was 1) Disable the Chrome PDF Viewer using the Chrome browser: chrome://plugins/ . Then also make sure the visitor has Adobe Reader and enables the Adobe Reader Plugin in the same plugins area (may have to update Adobe Reader to see it). As an extra step, I also installed Reader on the Win2003 Server and completed the same steps, although Adobe is unclear/unlikely whether this will force the visitors workstation to use the Adobe Reader plugin.
