After Effects and Premiere CS5.5 Stop Responding After Dragging Imported Files into Composition

    Ramzeez100

      Hi all,

I've been experiencing some problems with my Adobe AE and Premier Pro on my 2009 Macbook Pro 15 inch. All my other Adobe programs seem to be running fine, it is just these two video editing programs in the Master Collection, which have been crashing. Whenever I start a new project I can create the composition just fine, but when I attempt to drag my imported files into my composition panel, right as I press and hold the file, my cursor begins doing that rainbow spinning ball to indicate it's loading. I wait for approx. 20 minutes and quit the program via Force Quit. I've performed a factory reset on my Mac and after re-installing, it continues to have the same problem. I noticed this problem approx. 2-3 months ago and haven't noticed it before then. My specs will be listed below, and no error message has been seen.
