    New installation Premiere Elements13

    foxy45

Ive just bought and installed this with no problem but when I come to start a new project I get a message saying there is no disk inserted.

Why does the disk have to be in? I've had many previous versions and this has never happened before.

This is a known issue. Adobe's PRE_help has posted a fix. See if it works for you.

Delete or disable the OldFilm.AEX file found in the path

          Local Disk C

          Program Files

          Adobe

          Adobe Premiere Elements 13

          Plug-ins

          Common

          NewBlue

You should find the OldFilm.AEX file in the NewBlue Folder.

Please let us know the outcome.

          Thank you.

            Hi ATR

It worked so thank you for that.

I tried to follow the instructions at the bottom of the email to tick off as ‘correct’ but can’t see any mention of such a box.

Nevertheless you get 10 out of 10 from me.

            Regards

Thanks for the follow and great news of success with that Premiere Elements 13 No Disc error. Great job.

All that matters to me is that your issue is resolved and you can move forward with your Premiere Elements projects.

Your follow up is appreciated by all. Contributions such as yours will help to define just how many of these No Disc errors are

              really due to OldFilm.AEX.

              Best wishes
