hi, i'm using a trial version of acrobat pro XI, and created a form using this software.. now i mailed it to few of my friends, and they filled in the information, but are not able to save it.. instead a message pops up that says you cannot save the info typed into this form, instead a printout can be taken. what should i do?
It seems that users might be opening the document in an old version of Adobe Reader, you may ask them to update Adobe Reader to the latest build.
Also, you need to make sure the document is a Reader extended document; so that individuals can fill out and save the document. Please follow the steps mentioned below:-
Go to File > Save as other... > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools (includes form fill-in & save).
If the issue still persists, please share a screenshot of the error users are getting.
