I am having trouble with premiere pro cc 2014 outputting still images, when I click on the camera icon for export a still of the selected frame nothing happens, no pop up, no warning, nothing... This is frustrating as I run a weekly video for a client and we use a selected frame for youtube so I have to play the video and then screen grab, crop it in photoshop and then export it... I tried searching this forum and the web but so far I seem to be the only one experiencing this, any help would be appreciated.
I am running the latest update of Premiere Pro CC 2014 on Windows 8.1 (ASUS ROG G750JX 24gb RAM, 3gb Nvidia GTX 770M).
I had the exact same problem and found that if you click on the button editor symbol in the window from which you want to export the still (either Program or Source monitor), then click Reset Layout and OK, this fixes the problem. Hope this helps.
If that does not do the trick you can restart computere and hold down shift + alt while opening Premiere. This resets preferences and plugin cache.
If that does not work either you can export with file/media...
This Reset Layout trick worked for me. Thank you!
