    Automate Variable length frames

I maybe heading in the wrong direction but hear me out.

I have a roll of film that is being digitally converted, right now to a video format can be any.

There are Variable length frames that are denoted by a large white space "They are not consistent length/time".

I need to extract those frames then turn them into a panoramic image.

I would like to automate this process, software or code doesn't matter.

I looked on the forums so far it does not look like Premiere would not be the way to go?

      FFMEG perhaps?

Ideally I need something that will find that chuck of white space between the frames and extract. Perhaps writing code for a bitmap?

Any ideas would be appreciated! It would be awesome if Premiere could do this though!
