    Banding and bit deoth

    Etienne Smit

Please help, after grading my videos always seem to look really bad, with banding. How would I prevent this? I have tried the adding noise trick but it does not seem to help much. Also, how would I change the bit depth in Premiere Pro...Not the render bit depth, the actual working Bit depth? I can send it to After Effects and change it there, but I am not sure if it comes back to Premiere Pro as a 16 bit depth linked file.

      So in short.

Advice on preventing or removing banding, preferably  directly in Premiere Pro.
