What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
What do you mean by
My screen driver regularly crashes during an edit
Is the program crashing? How do you know that the screen driver specifically is crashing? Are you getting a display card error?
a. assuming some version of Windows, what is the Device Manager/Display Adapters showing for video card/graphic card for your computer
b. Driver version and date...is the driver version up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the card.
c. what are the properties of the video that you are editing when these crashing events occur?
1. Does not problem exist with or without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
2. Are you using a pen and tablet device instead of a mouse?
3. What is a description of your computer resources - installed and available RAM, free hard drive space, processor and cloc
There is no one fix for crashing projects.
