After I imported my clips and put them into the source window (top-left), the video clip is at full size and full resolution. However, when I transfer the input/output, or part of the clip I want, int the sequence, the clip appears to be about 40% narrower in the program window (top-right). Because of this much of the outside footage in the frame is cut off and invisible and the edges of the frame are important for the video. Does anyone know what may be causing such a problem and how to correct it? I'm using premiere pro CC 2014 and the app is up-to-date.
It sounds like your sequence does not match the format of your video files. In the project panel right click one of your video files and select 'New Sequence fro Clip' this should make matching sequence.
You are right. I dragged the audio to start the sequence first and then the video clips so that messed it up. Thanks.
