Flash still can not detect the diffent channels of a playing sound . So making a dynamic equalizer is still not possible entirely by flash.
Hope someone has any other way..........
Yeah I hope so too.. =)
I see this kind of equalizer on some flash sites ( apparently going to the BG music ) but they are all Fake..
they animate ( to what seems to be ) random positions/scales, and stop when the sound is turned off...
and by noticing this, i want to learn how to make a proper one....not fake like other sites..
I know it's a small thing that most people wount even notice...but it's a Learning process too, for me.. =)
I'm still searching..but not luck so far..
Yes i am searching and have tried several ways......but alas no success.....
One of the primary things that i check whenever there is a new version of Flash is being published.....
I have made several mp3 and flv player with equilizer ...... but they only dance as they have been designed to ......
Well, still havent found much...except this demonstration for amplitude, spectrum, and lip sync, using 3dr party application FlashAmp...
if you're interested in having a look the URL is:
I'd still preffer to only use Flash, and not any 3rd party software.... but unless someone somewhere knows how to do this... This is the closest im gonna get... =(
AS2 may not allow you to read the different channels, but AS3 does. If you
have Flash Player 9 installed, you can see an example at:
You can play with AS3 in Flex Builder 2 or Flash 9 Public Alpha.
