I have a Power Mac G4. Hard drive was failing and tech cloned everything to another hard drive he installed. Tech seemed baffled by my older Mac. Now none of my CS4 programs will work. They crash when trying to open a file. One time I got an error message in Photoshop, 131:4. Another time I got a message about licensing problems. Adobe telephone techs can't help because my OS 4.2 system is too old. Is licensing the problem or what?
The problem is most likely the cloning. Adobe software needs to be installed using installation files. Uninstall, use the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.
Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool
helps resolve installation problems for CS3 thru CS6 and for Creative Cloud
You can also download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
