Thnaks for the idea. I tried this but it does not remove AdobeAir from my system. Any other suggestions
I do not know where to look to uninstall adobe air on my computer.
If your machine is a Mac, the Uninstaller is in Applicatins/Utilities folder.
If your machine is a Windows, uses the Uninstall Program control panel to uninstall AIR.
I seem to be having a similar problem. I have what looks like a corrupt installation of Adobe Air 1.5 on my Mac. The system thinks that it is really installed but it is not. If I try to use an Adobe Air application I get this: "Something went wrong trying to install this application. Please install the latest version of Adobe Air from http://www.adobe.com/co.getair and then try again."
When I download and run the installer I get this:
Of course there is no Adobe Air Uninstaller in my Applications folder because Air was never actually installed. So I found what looked like a helpful tip for removing Air here: http://www.windley.com/archives/2008/10/uninstalling_adobe_air_on_os_x.shtml
But when it won't work when I run it. I am stuck here. I have some air apps that I really need to use but I can't. Anyone able to help? Please?
