    QT videos flickering

    yoshirauch
I have 5 QT videos laying one on top of another on stage. They are paused at start. I have 5 buttons that when user clicks on them, should start the correct movie, and stop and hide all the other ones.
When I first go into frame, the first movie I click on plays fine, but subsequent ones flicker, as if the other movie(s) are still playing.
On each button, I have a script similar to this one
      on mouseUp me

      sprite(28).visible = FALSE
      sprite(30).visible = FALSE
      sprite(31).visible = FALSE
      sprite(32).visible = FALSE
      sprite(28).movieRate=0
      sprite(30).movieRate=0
      sprite(31).movieRate=0
      sprite(32).movieRate=0
      sprite(29).visible = TRUE
      sprite(29).movieTime=0
      sprite(29).movieRate=1
      end

Any ideas on why this is happening, or if I should be placing my script in a different place other than movie buttons, or perhaps in different order?
      Thanks for any help!

try moving them off stage when not in use. They're fighting to be on top and
direct to stage even if they're not visible.
