What are your export settings to create a PDF?
Did you convert the spot color into a proces color upon export or did it remain a spot color?
Did you export your PDF for print or interactive?
The output on the screen of a spot color should not bother you, as the printer will choose the correct ink.
Do you have color samples of Pantone? You should have them to see how it will look like.
And are you sure you should be using "u" reference here, as that is for uncoated paper and most likely has a different shade to the "c" version.
Although it's essentially the same colour, printing on coated and uncoated stocks appear slightly different due to saturation in the paper of uncoated papers.
You really need to firstly speak with your client on both the colour they require and the type of paper it's being printed on.
If you are doing export or ps to pdf please check the output in Export Adobe PDF option and keep the color Conversion as "No Color Conversion"
Spot colors are not color managed anyway, so no conversion would take place except when you use the ink manager.
BTW you should never create a PDF via PS, neither via PostScript nor via Photoshop, both are no-go zones.
As far as the "light" color is concerned, it appears that the spot color is being used as a tint (a percentage coverage, or halftone screen) in most places.
I was checked your above option, still i'm getting same problem. If i use Indesign CS5, CS5.5 the color darkness will come correctly. I have facing this problem CS6 only.
Looking at the footer area, I would say the color behind the page number is probably 100%, but the rest is a tint.
CS6 and newer use Lab values for spot colors, not the CMYK book values, so there is likely to be some difference in the on-screen display compared to older versions as well as more consistent color across color managed output to difernt devices if the spots are converted to process. Unless you are converting spots to process at output, this is not relevant -- spot inks print from their own plate.
In your screen capture of the exported PDF looks like the color has been converted to process via Ink Manager's All Spots to Process—the light values have gone gray. Is that right?
In the PDF if you open Output Preview is 262U listed as an ink?
