Actually scratch that it doesn't happen with position keyframes... just did
I have not heard of this but here's a few things to try.
- Delete your Media Cache files found here - /Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common
- Trash your preferences - When launching Premiere Pro hold down Shift+Option. This automatically throws away Premiere’s preferences
- If this is a larger project you've been working on, create a new project and import your contents from the problematic project into it
Hope this gets you going.
Just emptied media cache folder, reset Premiere preferences, and it still happened. Opened up a different project than the one I have been working on, tested it, and it happened in that project too.
Still happening - just happened when I unchecked keyframes for brightness/contrast effect...

I just upgraded my iMac to Yosemite and just upgraded to CC from CS6. Right off the bat, if I keyframe scaling of a clip, but then uncheck the stopwatch, the program crashes on me. Doesn't happen with position keyframing. All software is up to date. Anyone else experience this?
Sorry you're experiencing this issue.
Is this a project you updated from CS6 to CC? If so, try the same thing in a new project. Does this issue still occur?
No, it was a project started on CC on a different computer, and I updated my home system so I could work on it there. However, this has happened on every project I have started since moving to CC, even the new ones.
This is happening to me too - has been for the past week or so. 2017.0.2 release. Basically any stopwatch I click to remove keyframes causes a "serious error" crash. Any updates on this?
Sorry for the frustration. Does this occur on a new project or an updated one? Can you try a new one? Are you also experiencing this issue on Mac? Please let us know more details.
