Should the target field be otherwise editable? If the user un-checks the check-box, should it reset the target field?
I'll show you what I need to do in context of the actual form.
So, the user clicks on the 'tick as required' for their desired qualification, that then populates the 'cost' column with the 'Fee' value.
Unfortunately this gets a bit confusing with 'Unit 3' of the Level 4 qualification as it is broken down into separate questions (each charged at £52).
Could you think of a way of doing this?
You didn't really answer my questions...
No the target field does not need to be editable and yes it should re-set if the check box is un-checked.
Sorry about that!
So if the check-box is named "CheckBox1" and the field from which you want to copy the text is called "Text2", enter this code as the custom calculation script of "Text3" (the target field):
event.value = this.getField("CheckBox1").value=="Off" ? "" : this.getField("Text2").valueAsString;
