I have been working with Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CS6 on files for a school reunion. Photos in DNG format in LR 5 are being edited in Photoshop CS6 resulting in TIFF files. This has been going well and the TIFF files, when completed, have been saved using the "Save" command (not "Save As") and have been returning to the original folder in Lightroom 5 for most of the photos. However, quite recently that stopped i.e., the TIFF photos, even when the "Save" command is used, are not being returned to the original LR 5 folder. in My suspicion is that some preference file has been corrupted. Can anyone help?
Are you sure you're looking in the folder and not a smart collection or "previous import" view?
If truly a folder, what happens if you try to sync the folder, does the tiff appear?
Michael— thank you. I was indeed looking at a true folder. However, I was not as familiar with the “synchronize folder” command as I should have been. I accordingly synchronized the folder and TIFF folders do appear. Thanks for your help.
