Possible yes? Wise, no.
I would need way more detail on this to even begin to think about the best way to handle this.
What is the intended output? EPUB? DPS?
What is your definition of pop up and how were you planning to do this? MSO? Buttons?
Thanks for your reply. I had guessed it wouldn't be wise.
We are restricted to an interactive PDF as the output.
We have used buttons in the past which revealed hidden frames, with another button on the now visible frame (or popup) to close it.
We only did this for a couple of instances of pop up box however, and even that involved troubleshooting. We had to adjust layer orders in acrobat I believe to get the final working correctly.
I just wanted to check before suggesting it as a solution.
Something like that would be doable in an MSO, but doing it with show/hide buttons? Not something I’d even try.
Would you recommend it with 40+ slides MSO even?
I can pitch that we have users click into a slideshow, obviously they lose the functionality of choosing a specific member but atleast they could flick through all the team connections. Oh, And would filesize be impacted heavily?
Really appreciate your help.
I’ve done MSOs that large but for PDF you’d need to export to SWF and put that back into the PDF, something I cannot recommend.
Thanks again. I think its fair to say I will be avoiding this idea
Thanks so much for your time and answers! Really informative!
