I have edited an image as a split tone and now want to try out a different effect on the same image without losing the changes I made on my first version. How can I do that and still be able to return to the first version should I want to? Do I need to make a dupes of the original and save each with different edits?
Most likely, you need to create a virtual copy of the original, and then try a different effect on the virtual copy. Now you have both the original edited version and the virtual copy edited version to do whatever you'd like with (print, web, e-mail, export, etc.)
To create a virtual copy, press Ctrl-apostrophe (Windows) or Cmd-apostrophe (Mac)
Thanks. That seems to be what I'm looking for.
