I did that but was on hold for three minutes....once the lady responded to me, she put me on hold and I waited for 35 more minutes before I hung up the receiver.... I will try again and see waht happens.....
Thanks Jack jones
I tried the number and the lady indicated that there is no telephone support for my request. She indicated that i must go to www.adobe.com/getsupport to solve my problem. I was on that site this morning and was not successful in any way shape or form. it was a frustrating experience that yielded nothing positive. I am still at a loss for how to solve my problem
You do have two activations and from what I understand, you used one. So go ahead install, activate and update on your computer.
You'll be up and running that way.
you can contact Adobe by other means (see Contact Us on the section about not being able to deactivate) , explain what happened and they should reset your activations.
I know my serial number. I have loaded this program on my desk top and the laptop that i use in the field. Now that my laptop is crashed I cannot load the program on another machine until I get the Adobe to reactivate my serial number so i can then install it on my new laptop. Otherwise they will deny me the right to load it on a third machine (only allowed to load the program on two machines at any given time) because they are not aware that my second loading is no longer available to me.
having said that I will try the CS6 Extended Installer and see what happens.
Thanks for your words of advice
Thanks for the advice. I will try it immediately...I have been working at this challenging problem all afternoon.
Thanks again, I will let you know what happens.
Cheers Jack Jones
Okay, you will need to contact Adobe as Gene mentioned since you have it "currently installed on two computers."
Ok, just do the install, if you get an activation limit reached, then call Adobe then and not before, because they do want to know you have this problem installing and may not do a reset on request if you have not.
Just recalling another user who was frustrated when the tech ask him if he had the problem first.
