I've talked to the support guys. I was told that this default title page cannot be changed in terms of contents. Another thing that drives me crazy in this app.
The journey of RoboHelp topics to PDF involves first being generated as a Microsoft Word document.
If you really want a different title page, I might think you could approach it like this.
Using Microsoft Word, create a Word document that is the title page you really want. Then when you edit the Single Source Layout recipe for your printed document, add your new title page and delete the default title page. Seems to work for me.
Oops.. my bad. Just read your bit about already knowing you can do what I suggested. I suppose I'll be asinine here and ask the obvious question.
Why is it you dislike creating your own title page? Seems pretty simple to me if you dislike what RoboHelp supplies.
I thought about editing the Default Title Page because there is a section for it already in the application, to which you can for exmpale apply a Master Page different from the one applied to other sections. I'm now trying to create a title page in a topic file inside RH, we'll see how it goes.
Thanks for the response.
