You need to download 5.7.1 as it supports the Sony Alpha 7 MKII.
Thanks for your quick reaction and your help. The version of LR that i have is the 5,7 (in french) and when i look for an update of the software, the anwer that i get with LR is There no update : « Votre logiciel est à jour. Aucune mise à jour n’est disponible »
So for me there is no 5.7.1 version but maybe well in english?
Best regards and thanks for your help
My version of 5.71.1 has French as an option for the language so it is out there. Is it standalone or CC you have?
the Standalone versions are here:
Great and well done,
ManyThanks to you, Nick and Rilk. You are right with the correct solution wich i hoped. What is really rare is that my version 5.7 (I thought it was the most recent one) didn't update to 5.7.1.
With the 5.7.1 version I tested the development of two test photos in arw format and it works very well. I'm starting in the FF world after years working with DX format.(Nikon D7000 and other Nikons before)
The 2 test photos i took where taken with a FE 4 70-200 G OSS (SEL70200G) objective in a room under artificial light and without any flashlight. Let me say the worst conditions...
Well, the result is astonishing not so bad at all after correction of the white balance. It is promising in better conditions outside;
Other objectives are currently ordered : Sony Zeiss Vario Tessar T FE 16-35 mm F/4 ZA OSS and Sony Zeiss FE 55 mm F/1,8.
All what i need for nice shots in the future.
Many thanks to you again
Robert - Are you running on OS X?
The reason for the question is it appears that LR on OS X is unable to automatically detect 5.7.1 as upgrade to 5.7. I had that problem and several others also had.
Yes indeed, Modesto
I'm running OS X Mavericks far away from the best version SL following my own experience.
I think there is un update available via App store 10.10.2.
You are probably right it would be a problem between OS X 10.10.1 or earlier versions and Lightroom 5.7.
You are Welcome
I am still on Mavericks myself, I am unsure about upgrading to Yosemite which is 10.10.2.
Does anybody in the forum know how to attract Adobe's attention to this? There is clearly an issue affecting those of us running on OS X. In one sentence: LR 5.7 does not recognise 5.7.1 as an available update on OS X.
I'm sorry Modesto, I apologize
I made a mistake My version is OSX 10.10.1 wich is Yosimite. So the problem is clearly With Yosemite 10.10.1
After backup il will do the upgrade to 10.10.2
Thanks - the problem you, I and other people in the forum had affects both Yosemite and Mavericks.
