only get the contents?
app.findGrepPreferences.findWhat = "^.+\\r";
1) I could be misunderstanding you ,very not sure but it sounds like you just want.
No Greps or searches.
The grep you wrote would not stop at fullstops / periods. The "." in the grep is a wildcard for any character.
Hello Teetan VK, and Trevor,
Thank you for your replies.
Trevor, you are right, every paragraph is really what I am after. If I rewrite the script I would use every para, thanks.
Trevor and Teetan,
My grep pattern returns:
On the following.
Hello v1. v2. v3, 11, 12, 13
Hello2 v1. v2. v3, 11, 12, 13
Hello3 v1. v2. v3, 11, 12, 13
Of course, there might be other factors breaking my search.
Thanks for taking the time to think about this.
I'm more than confused. My crystal ball doesn't work in this case, sorry.
What do you really want?
1. Please give an example text (before grep).
2. Please show us, what the grep should be do with the text (founded parts).
3. Please show an example text (after grep).
You are all right. The expression is working perfectly, I break the find result.
Thank you all for taking the time to think about this.
