    HTTPService compiler error

    donarbxc
      I'm trying to compile an application in FlexBuilder 2.0.1 and I have an HTTPService object in my main MXML file:

      <mx:HTTPService id="makes_list" url="data/makes.xml" useProxy="false"/>

      The compiler chokes with this error:

      Can not resolve a multiname reference unambiguously. mx.rpc.http:HTTPService (from /Applications/Adobe Flex Builder 2/Flex SDK 2/frameworks/libs/rpc.swc(mx/rpc/http/HTTPService)) and mx.rpc.http.mxml:HTTPService (from /Applications/Adobe Flex Builder 2/Flex SDK 2/frameworks/libs/rpc.swc(mx/rpc/http/mxml/HTTPService)) are available.

      My mx:Application tag specifies the standard mx namespace. My paths seem correct and all other components compile just fine. What causes this error and what can I do to specify the correct namespace path so it compiles correctly? I suppose if I can't get it to compile I could use the mx:Script tag where I know I can specify the correct namespace.
