It is one thing to seek Adobe deactivation for a computer that crashed. But, for a computer you no longer own, is another matter.
Especially if the computer might now in the hands of another.
I have my doubts if Adobe can help you on this matter, unless you
present them with a situation where you report that you are getting a "too many computers on which there is the same purchased activated serial number" message.
But we are not Adobe. Rather user to user. Adobe has the final say on this type of situation.
Deactivation and uninstall are not the same. And, if not a computer crash situation, deactivate in the opened project before the uninstall.
