I have a self signed ZXP from which I use JQuery (AJAX) requests. On the server side there is a proxy which redirects all HTTP requests to HTTPS (302).
The request which was redirected gets (cancelled) by the Chromium browser that hosts the Extension.
The request header looks like this
The question is, is it necessary to sign the ZXP via an authorized service (Verisign). Or it is some inherent issue with the embedded browser?
WHat does this have to do with InDesign?
Its got more to do with the CEF that the HTML extension uses, I think ,than InDesign itself.
So an as HTML extension developer I am unable to make any https calls, which is pretty standard stuff! I have even tried accessing Google.com within the extension (also not working).
I wonder if there is anything I m missing ?
I am sorry, I think I posted this in the wrong Adobe forum.
