I am receiving@ error code 1 after trying to install the creative cloud desktop. I have purchased the lightroom 5 and photoshop and I cant get in to download onto my computer. I am using internet explorer and have windows 8

Error "Failed to Install" Creative Cloud Desktop application Suggestions don't work. This is my first attempt at CC, so far zero impressed. Can't even get it to work to try it! I wait, and get the Error 1, and that's all. Tried reboot, as well as the applicable suggestions on your site. In addition to frustrating me, it's made me look at other manufacturer options. Sorry. I've been with Adobe since the very first itterations, so would call myself a loyal customer.

I also receive Error Code 1 when I try to download the Creative Cloud desktop app.  I tried the suggested options and even attempted to install as the System Administrator.  I'm using Google Chrome

with Windows 7.  Any other suggestions?
