As far as I know, Adobe offers a discount for a direct purchase during the "early" days of a new release, but I think that is only for a month
But, I don't work for Adobe... so try the link below
Select a topic, then click I STILL NEED HELP to start Premiere Elements Online chat
hmm, that's interesting. So perhaps it might be good to wait for new release.. then get a better deal? I guess that's a decent way to go if you don't mind waiting.
I think I'll wait a bit to see if anyone else weighs in on this, but thank you for the link John! I'll go there if I can't get any answers.
If you head here: Video making software | Adobe Premiere Elements 13
You can click "Upgrade Now" instead of "buy now" to get the upgrade pricing. With the current promotion, however, Upgrade pricing is more expensive than if you buy it full. (US $69full vs US$79 upgrade).
Hope this helps,
Thank you for clearing that up.. I did see that but thought is didn't make any sense and figured there must have been another way that I was missing.. Not a bad price ($69) anyway.
Thanks again Pete!
