Hi khuong nguyen

We tried to reproduce the issue at our end on a 64-bit device with iOS 7 but the app worked fine without any crash.

Could you please a sample app in which you are facing the issue, so that we could investigate the issue further.

Regards

Abhinav

The crash happens on 64 bit devices running ios 7.x that have ANE files attached to them. It crashes even if the ANE is 64 bit compatible. It's in the bugbase and is a very critical update.

We would like to confirm that the issue has been fixed from our end for the crash occurring on using ANE's on iOS 7 devices  & the same should be available in the next public release of AIR SDK

Thanks,

Abhinav

When is the next public release?

As you know the AIR16 cannot be currently used due to some major bugs:

iOS7 + 64 bits ANE crash,

RemoteNotifier not firing events so no push notifications on iOS Bug#3924579 - Remote Notifier not firing events,

dynamic stageAspect Ratio causing errors in UI input: Bug#3925510 - iOS - StageAspectRatio Bug + AIR SDK 16.0.0.283 : iOS - StageAspectRatio Bug

And as you also know Apple now requires app to be build with 64bits architecture in order to be reviewed.

So I guess, all AIR developers targeting iOS are now just waiting for the new public release.

What do yo mean by "next public release"? is the current AIR 17 beta release solve this bug? When the next public release is plan? (a date would be nice, we are planning to launch our app as soon as this bug is solved)

Thx,

Alan

Hello Adobe developer,

The crash happens when app included ANE file. The description of issue is same with comment "Vivid75Feb 3, 2015 3:26 PM" (The crash happens on 64 bit devices running ios 7.x that have ANE files attached to them. It crashes even if the ANE is 64 bit compatible).

When do you offer the next public release of AIR SDK which fixed the crash issue?
