Hopefully there is an easy answer to this question -I had this long table that I created and I separated it up to spread across multiple pages, linking the tables so the table information would flow. -worked great!
I recently moved these tables to a new document and now I no longer have these linked tables, I have individual ones. I tried re-linking the text fields together, but that just pushes the table down and places the information above it as text, it doesn't place the new information into the individual table cells like it used to.
Is there a way to re-link the tables so they flow the same way like they did before?
Go back to your original document, and instead of copying the text boxes, put your text cursor in the first box, and select all.
Then paste into a text box in the new document.
Copying individual frames of a linked story breaks the links.
thanks!! I knew it was simple: just couldn't think of it until I saw it here
You're welcome, Amanda.
