It sounds like you are running out of system resources. What are your system specs, and do you have the latest version of your software?
Same old story: Something on your system is blocking the required ports. Check your firewall and other security stuff.
Thank you for your response and taking the time to address my problem. As a very long time Adobe product user and with all due respect, I did not find "Something on your system is blocking the required ports. Check your firewall and other security stuff." to be particularly helpful. That stuff is, in fact, more important than any Adobe product and is quite sophisticated and complex. I have already provided complete access to the dynamiclink manager file and today went through a complete cleaning and re-installation of all Adobe products, without success. This is obviously a problem others have had and yet no consistently successful solution has been determined that I can find.
I will move on but it is frustrating to have software that supposedly offers a capability but that can't be accessed.
