OK, so I have a director application on a local server that
contuously syncs via php scripts with a remote server. It downloads
PNG files, W3D files, and Jpegs, to local directories and the
director app loads these files dynamically when needed. So
Everything worked fine until we noticed that the on occasion some
files in this case, the PNG files did not fully download. This is a
problem in itself, but I am worried with the way direcotr handles
the isue. The PNG's appeared to be like half the image. Well when
the director app tried to import the file in the form of 'the
filename of "PNG" = the_filename' the application completely shuts
down. How can I make sure that this file is not corrupted?
Are you ensuring they are completely downloaded before
setting the filename?
Do you have MIME-types correctly set on your delivery server?
Do you have all the required xtras present including Mix
PNG Import Export?
